UK household debt has rocketed during the coronavirus outbreak as people have lost jobs and income. Christians Against Poverty (CAP) is passionate about releasing people in our nation from a life sentence of debt, poverty and its causes. Working with the local church CAP brings good news, hope and freedom.
“CAP are unsurpassed when it comes to the debt help they give people across the country.” Martin Lewis, Money Saving Expert
The Oxford Christians Against Poverty Centre, operating from an office in the St Clement’s Centre, is the base for CAP’s work in OX1, OX2, OX3, OX4 and OX33, helping lift people out of debt and poverty. The Centre is being run by a consortium of five local churches and by six amazing part-time staff.
